Qualified Investors


Midway helps Qualified Investors and their advisors find pre-IPO opportunities that they normally cannot access.

Currently, an individual or entity is a qualified client if he, she, or it:

(i) has $1,100,000 or more of assets under management with the investment advisor after the investment in the fund

(ii) has a net worth of $2,200,000 prior to the investment in the fund (excluding the value of his or her primary residence)

(iii) is a “qualified purchaser”

(iv) is an officer or director of the fund manager or is an employee who participates in the investment activities of the investment advisor and has been doing so for 12 months.

 

Broker-Dealers


Broker-dealers are frequently looking for ways to help their advisors differentiate in the market. However, the pre-IPO market is one where most advisors and traditional independent brokers do not have access. If accepted, your group will have access to all of the above. MVP works with a select group of broker-dealers whose advisors' high-net-worth clients see the value in investing in well-funded, industry-changing companies before the IPO.

 

Family Offices


We respect your privacy and have been assisting families for many years. Family offices represent a unique structure in the industry, and we work with some of the top family offices. Our client list expands from professional team owners, agriculture, real estate, movie groups, auto folks, and other high-net-worth families and investors. A group must understand and appreciate the unique circumstances with a family office. Each family is different. Each family office has its own opportunities and challenges. Another benefit of being part of our group is that we can “team” families. We have put families together so that the group has more buying power. We have gathered single family offices and made them multi-family offices in the pre-IPO space. Not only did the groups combine capital to lower share prices, but they also (in some instances) blended their businesses.

 

Institutions


Midway has represented both institutional buyers and sellers of pre-IPO stock. Institutional investors have included hedge funds, large pensions, investment advisors, and endowments.
